Rare vintage desk lamp

This beautiful fishing rod lamp was made in the 1970s by the Dutch company Herda Verlichting.
The great thing about this lamp is not only its pleasant appearance but also the many adjustable options to let the light shine.
It is made of metal with a very recognizable coarse lacquer, the lampshade is made of plexiglass also called perpex.
Because 100-watt light bulbs were very common in the 1970s, it often happened that plastic caps melted from the heat. This hood is also a bit distorted, fortunately it is not very obvious. The metal has also suffered some damage over the past 50 years. Yet this lamp remains a great object to look at.
