Rare Pendent Light

This timeless design lamp is produced by Raak Amsterdam.
Correspondingly, these lamps are very rare.
This pendant has an aluminum tube in the middle that carries a large plexiglass plate. In this plate there are 3 round openings in which 3 aluminum spheres are located.
These spheres can be directed in any desired direction, up/down or sideways.
The lamp is in good condition considering its age.
The plexiglass and the spheres have some scratches.

RAAK became one of the most important lighting companies in the Netherlands and had an important contribution to the style of the 'Space Age' of the 1960s and '70s. Raak lamps are highly sought after by collectors and vintage enthusiasts all over the world.
The company was unfortunately declared bankrupt on May 19, 2011.
