Modern Scandinavian pendant light

This impressive hanging lamp is super rare. It is mainly made of Aluminum. As a result, there are no traces of rust, but this lamp has of course incurred some damage over the years. But this is not strange, since he is already more than 50 years old. This model was made in several versions. But I have never seen this one with 4 rings on top of each other. They are also manufactured in plastic by Scan-Light AB.

New Edison screw-fitting E26/E27 for a 100 Watt light bulb.
We recommend a 12 Watt. LED bulb.
Because the fitting was broken, it was replaced by a new one.
The strain relief has been replaced and it has a new metal ceiling cap.
Cleaned and equipped with a new electrical cord, 195 cm. / 76.8 inch. long.

Swedish interior decorator and furniture designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson was born in Hvadhem/Gotland in 1919. After finishing an apprenticeship as a carpenter, he studied architecture in Gothenburg and began his career as industrial designer at General Motors. Subsequently he became an assistant to the prominent furniture designers Carl Malmsten and Werner West. In 1951 he founded his own company, Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB, at Markaryd. There he not only created lighting design but also candlesticks, pieces of furniture and other implements.
