50’s octagon glass ceiling lamp

Beautiful vintage ceiling lamp

This octagon ceiling lamp is really an oldie, but that is almost impossible to see from the glass. It was made in the Netherlands in the late 1950s. No cracks or chips and the colors are nice and bright.

The suspension part is made of brass and aluminum. The long aluminum rod is probably not original, but with a high ceiling this is nice, otherwise the glass hangs very high. This rod is also easy to remove, so if you want to hang it short against the ceiling, that is also possible.

Electric cable has been renewed.

Height - 70 cm. / 27.5 inch.

Original Edison screw-fittings E26 / E27 for two 40 Watt lightbulbs.
We recommend 6 watt. LED bulbs.
