Design Probably by Ernest Igl (1920-2001)

There are 21 glass pieces hanging on a metal chromed frame
13 pieces on the big ring and 8 pieces on the small ring
Because the glass pieces are thick, it is a heavy lamp
It is in a very good vintage condition
Metal frame has some oxidation
Glass is like new

Measurements :
Height - 75 cm. / 29.5 inch
Ø- 35 cm. / 13.8 inch

7 Original Edison screw-fittings
6 - E14 for 15 - 25 Watt lightbulbs
and 1 E27 for a 40 - 60 Watt lightbulb

Factory in light fixtures founded by Egon Hillebrand in 1881
The plant was based in Neheim, Germany on the Mohnestrasse
The factory was closed in the 2nd WO and reopened in June 1945
In 1954, Hillebrand launched the 'Leuchtspiegel' on the market. A mirror surrounded by lighting in an acrylic ring. Cooperation takes place with Ernest Igl (1920-2001) an industrial designer from Prague
In 1995 the factory was closed
