Rare Mid Century Table Light Set

First, to show the size of them, i placed a Philips tripod lamp in between (which is familiar)
This model is very rare.
Off course they are in vintage condition. (scratches, cracks and dents on the petrol paint)
But still very beautiful.

Made by Philips Holland in the 50's.
by the Dutch architect and designer Louis Kalff.
Both lamps wear the brand label.

Hood is made of Aluminium.
Shade is made from white plastic, some cracks but not annoying.
Shaft is from metal and wrapped in a thick white plastic.
Foot is from heavy metal.

Measurements :
Height - 52,5 cm. / 20.5 inch.
Ø - 24 cm. / 9.5 inch.

One of the lights has got the 2 original Porcelain E14 Edison screw-fittings.
They both come with 2 x 19 Watt halogen lightbulbs.
Fully cleaned and equipped with a new white electrical cord with switch (300 cm. / 118 inch.)
(European two-pin power plug)
Overseas buyers can either change the plug or use a plug converter.

The Dutch architect and designer Louis Kalff (1897-1976) joined Philips in 1925.
He modernize the visual image of the company by designing advertisements and a range of electric products.
In 1946 he became Philips chief designer and head of the lighting division.
In this position he designed a large number of lighting fixtures.
