Space-age 70s UFO light

Vintage UFO light pendant

This very rare model has a beautiful space age design.
Made by Massive Belgium.
From the same publisher who also sold the "Colani" UFO lamps.
Year : 1970's.

This light is in good vintage condition, no cracks.
Because it is made from plastic, probably not many copies have survived.

Measurements :
Diameter - 40 cm. / 15.7 inch.
Height - 18 cm. / 7 inch.

This lamp has the original suspension but with a new fitting, cable and ceiling cap.

New E26 / E27 Edison screw-fitting for a 60 Watt light bulb.
We recommend a 9 watt. LED bulb.
Fully cleaned and equipped with a new electrical cord. 175 cm. / 68.9 inch. long and new ceiling cap.

The company was founded in 1926 by Pieter-Jozef De Jaeck. In the 1980s, Massive became the leading brand in Europe. In 2008 Philips bought the company and changed the name of the stores to Light Gallery.
